Rules

- 1-Step: an 8% profit target, a 3% daily limit and a 5% maximum loss that trails the highest equity reached (trailing drawdown).
- 3-Step: three phases with a 3% target each, a 2% daily limit and a static 3% maximum loss.
- Instant: no evaluation, a 2% daily limit and a 3% maximum loss that trails the high watermark. A payout needs at least 3% profit and a consistency score of 20% or below (consistency rule).
The daily limit is a percentage of the higher of equity or balance at 00:00 UTC. Weekend holding is permitted on all account types. Except on Instant accounts, trades may not be opened or closed from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after red-folder news, both in the challenge and on funded accounts. Expert advisors are not permitted on any platform.
Payouts
The profit split is 80% on all four account types. Withdrawals can be requested every 10 business days after the first trade, and the fee is refunded on the third withdrawal. Instant accounts pay out when their requirements are met. Maven caps withdrawals at $10,000 per trader per 30-day rolling cycle; profit above the cap is voided.
Countries
Maven lists 25 restricted countries. They include Iran and Yemen in the Middle East; Burkina Faso, Guinea, Mali, Sudan and Somalia in Africa; Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, Guyana and Saint Lucia in Latin America and the Caribbean; and Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.
Before you buy a challenge
- Compare the loss limits: the 3-Step allows only 2% a day and 3% in total.
- If you use expert advisors, note that Maven does not allow them.
- If you trade news, plan around the 2-minute window on the 1-, 2- and 3-Step accounts.
- Check that your country is not on the restricted list.
