What Match-Trader is
Match-Trader is a trading platform made by Match-Trade Technologies. It works in the web browser and in mobile apps, and several prop firms offer it alongside MetaTrader or instead of it. Like any platform, it only displays and sends your orders: prices and execution come from the firm or broker behind your account.
What to check
- Rules are set by the firm. Loss limits, news rules and payout terms come from the prop firm or broker, not from the platform.
- Automation. Match-Trader does not run MetaTrader expert advisors. If you trade with bots, check what the firm allows on this platform.
- Charts and orders. Charting tools and order types differ from MetaTrader; try a demo or a free trial before you pay for a challenge.
- Keep your records. Download your trade history regularly — you will need it if you ever have to show that you followed a rule.
