    Reading the site

    Wealth.cat sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Site search runs in your browser: what you type is not sent to us.

    The site is hosted by Netlify, which processes the technical data of every request (such as your IP address and browser) to deliver the pages and protect the service, under Netlify’s privacy policy.

    The “What if I had invested” calculator loads price files from this site. For stocks, indices and crypto it asks our server, which fetches the prices from our market-data provider; nothing about you is passed on and nothing is stored.

    Videos

    Some reviews show a video from the company’s own YouTube channel. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play: the page only shows a placeholder. When you press play, the video is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com (YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode), and Google processes the request — including your IP address — under Google’s privacy policy.

    The short screen recordings on calculator pages are our own files, served from this site like any image.

    To show only offers that may be promoted where you are, the page asks our server which offers are available. The server works out your country from your IP address at that moment; neither the IP address nor the answer is stored.

    When you follow a partner link (an address starting with /go/), we store one record of the click: its time, the partner, your country code, the page language and the page you came from, plus a random click id that is passed to the partner so commissions can be matched. No IP address or other identifier of you is stored.

    Reviews you send

    If you send a review, we store what you entered in the form — rating, text, optional title, the name you chose, optional country and how you used the company — with the date and the page language. We do not ask for or store your e-mail or IP address. We read every review before publishing it; published reviews show your rating, text, name, country and date.

    We store reviews to publish them with your consent, which you give with the checkbox on the form.

    How long we keep data

    Click records and review submissions are kept in our hosting provider’s storage until we delete them; we delete records we no longer need at least once a year. Published reviews stay online until you ask us to remove them.

    Your rights

    You can ask what we store about you, ask us to correct it or to delete it — for example to remove a review you wrote. Write to us through the contact page. As we store no e-mail or IP address, tell us the page and the name and date shown with your review so we can find it.

    The site is for adults (18+) and is not meant for children.

    We will update this page when what we store changes; the date at the top shows the last change.
