Overview
FundingTraders is operated by FT US Inc, registered in Miami Beach, Florida, and Funding Traders Group Ltd., a Saint Lucia company. This review covers its 2-Step Pro challenge, sold as PRO10 and PRO6, and its 1-Step Pro challenge, traded on MT5 or TradeLocker. Instant Funding accounts are not covered: their rules changed for accounts bought from 8 October 2026. On the day we checked, the help center also announced new 2-Step “Day” and “Swing” account types. Facts were checked on 14 October 2026.
Programs and prices
Fees are one-time and in US dollars. On the day we checked, every price on the website was shown struck through next to a sale price half as high. Regular prices for $5,000, $10,000, $25,000, $50,000, $100,000 and $200,000 accounts:
- 2-Step PRO10: $90, $150, $290, $430, $750 and $1,250.
- 2-Step PRO6: $49, $79, $159, $259, $459 and $799.
- 1-Step Pro: $59, $109, $229, $329, $589 and $999.
The fee is paid back as a refund bonus: with the second payout for accounts bought from 8 May 2026, according to the account-type articles (the home-page FAQ says the first payout).
Rules
- 2-Step PRO10: profit targets of 10% and 5%, at least 4 trading days per phase, a 5% daily loss limit and a static 10% maximum loss.
- 2-Step PRO6: profit targets of 6% and 6%, at least 4 trading days per phase, a 3% daily limit and a static 6% maximum loss.
- 1-Step Pro: a 10% profit target, a 3% daily limit and a 10% maximum loss that trails the highest recorded balance (trailing drawdown). The home-page table shows 4 minimum trading days; the 1-Step Pro help article says 2.
Daily limits are a percentage of the account size, counted from the day’s starting balance (2-Step) or starting equity (1-Step). On funded accounts, the loss on one trade idea may not exceed 2% of the initial balance.
News trading is unrestricted during the challenge. On funded accounts, no more than 30% of total profits may come from news trades; the home-page FAQ adds that trades may not be opened or closed within 2 minutes of high-impact events. Pro accounts may hold trades overnight and over weekends. Expert advisors are allowed only for risk management, or if the trader programmed them personally.
Payouts
The default profit split is 80% on the 2-Step Pro and 90% on the 1-Step Pro; paid add-ons raise it to 100%. The first payout is available 21 days after the first trade on the funded account, then every 21 days; a 14-day schedule is a paid add-on. The 1-Step Pro home-page table shows “14 Days”, while its article and the FAQ give 21 days by default. On the 1-Step Pro, the best day may not exceed 50% of total profits to qualify for a payout.
Countries
FundingTraders lists five restricted countries: Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Venezuela and Myanmar. Existing users from these countries can keep trading their active accounts until they break a rule.
Before you buy a challenge
- Compare PRO6’s tighter loss limits with PRO10’s higher targets.
- If you trade news, check the 30% limit on funded accounts.
- For the 1-Step Pro, confirm the minimum trading days and payout schedule at checkout, as the official pages disagree.
