Overview

Blue Guardian’s simulated trading platforms are provided by Blue Guardian Limited, based in Saint Lucia; its marketing and payment companies are in Dubai. The firm states that all its accounts, including funded accounts, are demo accounts with virtual funds. This review covers three CFD products: 2 Step Standard, 1 Step Standard and Instant Standard, traded on MT5, Match-Trader or TradeLocker (US clients: Match-Trader and TradeLocker only). The Nano models, Instant Starter, Buy Now Pay Later and the futures products are not covered. Facts were checked on 14 October 2026.

Programs and prices

Fees are in US dollars. On the day we checked, every price was shown struck through next to a price 35% lower with a promotional code. Regular prices:

  • 2 Step Standard: $5,000 for $32, $10,000 for $75, $25,000 for $154, $50,000 for $232, $100,000 for $463, $200,000 for $930.
  • 1 Step Standard: $5,000 for $40, $10,000 for $66, $25,000 for $134, $50,000 for $200, $100,000 for $398, $200,000 for $736.
  • Instant Standard: $5,000 for $72, $10,000 for $100, $25,000 for $208, $50,000 for $324, $100,000 for $623, $200,000 for $954, $300,000 for $1,712, $400,000 for $2,200.

The fee is refunded after the fourth payout (Instant Starter accounts excluded).

Rules

  • 2 Step Standard: profit targets of 8% and 4%, a 4% daily loss limit and a static 8% maximum loss. At least 3 profitable days (0.5% each) are needed to pass the evaluation.
  • 1 Step Standard: a 9% profit target (10% for accounts bought before 20 August), a 4% daily limit and a 6% maximum loss that trails the highest closing balance and locks at the starting balance once the account is 6% up (trailing drawdown). At least 3 profitable days.
  • Instant Standard: no profit target, a 3% daily limit and a 6% trailing maximum loss. Payouts need 5 profitable days and a 20% consistency score.

The daily limit is a fixed percentage of the initial balance, subtracted from the higher of balance or equity at 5 pm EST. News trading is allowed during the challenge; on funded accounts, trades may not be opened or closed from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after high-impact news and FOMC events. Overnight and weekend holding is allowed, and so are expert advisors. Trades must be held for at least 2 minutes. On funded accounts, a “Guardian Shield” automatically closes open trades at a 2% floating loss (1% on Instant).

Payouts

The profit split is 85% on 2 Step and 1 Step funded accounts and 80% on Instant Standard, or 90% with a paid add-on. The first payout needs the minimum trading days and 14 calendar days since the first trade; later payouts can be requested every 14 days (every 7 days with an add-on). Instant accounts pay out on demand. Every payout carries a 3% processing fee, and the first two payouts on $200,000 to $400,000 accounts are capped at $10,000 each.

Countries

Blue Guardian lists 13 restricted countries: Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Cuba, Iran, Jordan, Libya, Myanmar, North Korea, the Philippines, Senegal, Syria and Vietnam.

Before you buy a challenge

  • Count on getting the fee back only after the fourth payout.
  • Factor the 3% payout processing fee into your expected rewards.
  • If you trade news, check the funded-account window first.
