Overview
IC Markets now brands itself “IC”. Its global site is run by Raw Trading Ltd, licensed in Seychelles; group entities in Cyprus and Kenya hold other licences. Other group entities were not checked, and the pages we checked give no founding year or headquarters. All facts in this review were checked on 7 October 2026.
Licences and who they cover
- Raw Trading Ltd: FSA (Seychelles), licence SD018; it runs the global site. Forex leverage goes up to 1:5000 and falls as position size grows (1:1000 above 50 lots in the page’s example). Other maximums: metals 1:2000, energies and crypto 1:500, indices, futures and bonds 1:200, stocks 1:20.
- IC Markets (EU) Ltd: CySEC (Cyprus), licence 362/18. Its EU site states that 73.46% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with IC Markets (EU) Ltd.
- IC Markets (KE) Limited: CMA (Kenya), licence 199. It appears only on the CMA register, which lists no website for it, and we found no website offering its services, so its accounts, payments and leverage are unknown.
Raw Trading Ltd does not serve residents of countries “such as” the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Iran and North Korea; the list is not exhaustive.
Accounts and costs
The three accounts on the global site all have a $0 minimum deposit:
- Raw Spread: MetaTrader 4 and 5, raw spreads, $3.5 per lot per side ($7 round turn) on a USD account.
- cTrader Raw Spread: cTrader and TradingView, $3 per side per USD 100,000 traded.
- Standard: MetaTrader 4 and 5, no commission, spreads from 0.8 pips.
Ten base currencies are offered, including USD, EUR and GBP. A swap-free option is available on request for the Raw Spread and Standard account types on MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and cTrader, with a flat holding fee instead of swaps.
Deposits and withdrawals
IC Markets charges no deposit or withdrawal fees of its own; banks may charge fees on wires.
- Cards: instant deposits; withdrawals in 3–5 business days, rarely up to 10. Credit card withdrawals may not be available in every country.
- PayPal, Neteller and Skrill: instant deposits.
- Bank wire: deposits in 2–5 business days; international withdrawals can take up to 14 days.
Crypto deposits (BTC, ETH, USDC, USDT) are listed without network or withdrawal rules. No local methods for Africa, Latin America or the Gulf, such as M-Pesa, SPEI, OXXO or mada, are listed.
Before you open an account
- Check which entity will hold your account: Raw Trading Ltd (Seychelles) or IC Markets (EU) Ltd (CySEC).
- In Kenya, ask which entity would serve you, since we found no website for IC Markets (KE) Limited.
- Confirm that your country is accepted; the restricted list is not exhaustive.
