Overview

FBS is a forex and CFD broker. Its help centre says the brand started in 2009. The website fbs.com is operated by FBS Markets Inc., a company registered in Belize, with an office in Belize City; payments are handled by HDC Technologies Ltd. in Cyprus. All facts in this review were checked on 28 October 2026.

Licences and who they cover

FBS Markets Inc. holds licence 4077102 from the Financial Services Commission of Belize under the Securities Industry Act 2021. The FSC Belize register lists it as active, registered on 1 January 2025, for “Trading in Securities as Agent” and “as Principal”, with the website fbs.com. The about page speaks of “multiple local FBS licenses”, but fbs.com names only the Belize licence. FBS shows no percentage of retail accounts that lose money; the “nearly 30% of traders succeed” line on its home page is a third-party average across brokers, not an FBS figure.

The client agreement lists 43 jurisdictions FBS does not serve. In Africa they are Egypt, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Libya, Madagascar, Mali, Niger, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan and Western Sahara. The list also covers the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, the United States, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Ukraine, Russia and others, and the site footer adds Israel. Other African countries are not on the list.

Accounts and costs

The website describes one set of conditions, which the trading conditions call the Standard account:

  • initial deposit from $5;
  • floating spreads from 0.7 pips and no commission;
  • leverage up to 1:3000 while equity is below 200 USD or EUR, falling step by step to 1:400 from 150,000; fixed at 1:100 on stocks, 1:200 on indices and energies and 1:500 on metals;
  • margin call at 40%, stop-out at 20% and negative balance protection;
  • MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5; the FBS app trades MT5 accounts.

A swap-free status can be switched on for any real account in the Trader Area. On exotic pairs FBS then charges a fixed weekly fee from the second Sunday a position stays open. A cent account from $1 exists, but only through a partner’s referral link.

Deposits and withdrawals

FBS says it offers more than 200 deposit and withdrawal methods, including bank transfers, credit and debit cards, Skrill and Neteller, but the list for your country appears only on the deposit page after you log in. We found no mobile money method, such as M-Pesa, MTN MoMo or OPay, named on its public pages. Where local banks are available, profits must be withdrawn to a local bank.

  • Visa / Mastercard: withdrawals first refund your card deposits.
  • Bank transfer: deposits take from a couple of hours to 10 business days.
  • Skrill and Neteller: minimum deposits of $12 and $10.

The withdrawal guide says FBS reviews each request within 24 hours; e-wallet withdrawals then arrive the same day, card and bank withdrawals in 2–7 business days. Another help article gives up to 30 minutes for e-wallets, 3–4 business days for cards and 7–10 business days for bank transfers. The conditions page says payment commission is “not charged by FBS”, while a help example mentions a card “withdrawal fee” without an amount.

Before you open an account

  • Check that your country is not on FBS’s list of excluded jurisdictions; Egypt, DR Congo and Mali are.
  • Remember that FBS Markets Inc. is licensed only in Belize.
  • Log in to see which local payment methods work in your country before you deposit.
  • Ask about withdrawal fees and times for your method.
