Overview

Plus500 is a trademark of Plus500 Ltd, which operates through regulated subsidiaries and offers CFDs on its own trading platform. When we checked, every page of www.plus500.com sent us to Plus500’s US futures site, so we could not read the account, fee and payment pages of its CFD site. This review uses Plus500’s own description in its official Google Play app listing, its investor-relations site and the registers of two regulators. All facts in this review were checked on 14 October 2026.

Licences and who they cover

According to the app listing:

  • Plus500SEY Ltd: Seychelles FSA, licence SD039. The FSA register lists it as a securities dealer, with the website plus500.com.sc.
  • Plus500Gulf Securities L.L.C.: UAE Capital Market Authority (SCA), licence 20200000232. The UAE version of the listing gives its office in Dubai.
  • Plus500AU Pty Ltd: authorised financial services provider in South Africa (FSP 47546), ASIC AFSL 417727 in Australia and FMA FSP 486026 in New Zealand.
  • Plus500CY Ltd: CySEC licence 250/14, also on the CySEC register, which lists www.plus500.com among its approved domains.
  • Plus500UK Ltd: FCA (UK), FRN 509909.
  • Plus500BHS Ltd.: Securities Commission of The Bahamas, licence SIA-F250.

The listing also names subsidiaries in Singapore, Estonia and Canada. It does not say which company serves which country, and we found no list of accepted countries; it says services may be restricted in certain jurisdictions. Its risk warning gives no retail-loss percentage.

Accounts and costs

The app listing promises “0 commissions, tight spreads and zero deposit fees”, so the spread is the trading cost we could confirm. Trading runs on Plus500’s own platform, and the listing offers an unlimited demo account.

We could not verify the minimum deposit, the maximum leverage, typical spreads, overnight fees or whether a swap-free account exists. These depend on the Plus500 company that holds your account.

Deposits and withdrawals

The listing says accounts can be funded by credit or debit card, bank transfer and other methods; the UAE version adds Apple Pay. It does not list withdrawal methods, fees or times, and we could not open the payments page, so we have left them out.

Before you open an account

  • Check which Plus500 company your country’s site names in its footer, and look up its licence in the regulator’s register.
  • Read the fees, leverage and risk-warning pages of that company before you deposit.
  • Ask which methods you can use to withdraw and how long withdrawals take.
