Crypto DCA calculator: regular purchases
Enter the price at each regular purchase to see your average cost, how many coins you hold and what they are worth today, after fees.
How it works
Dollar-cost averaging means buying the same amount at regular intervals, whatever the price. Each purchase buys (amount × (1 − fee)) ÷ price coins, so a low price buys more coins than a high one. Your average purchase price is the total invested divided by the coins you hold.
Example: 100 a month for six months at 42,000, 48,000, 39,000, 51,000, 58,000 and 62,000 with a 0.5% fee buys about 0.01226 coins at an average of about 48,921. At 60,000 they are worth about 736, against 600 invested.
Where the prices come from
Enter the prices you actually paid, from your exchange’s order history, or the prices on the dates you plan to buy. The calculator does not fetch prices.
Keep it realistic
Regular purchases smooth out the price you pay, but they do not protect you from losses: if the price keeps falling, every purchase loses value. Network and withdrawal fees and taxes are not included.
