Prop firm consistency rule calculator
Check whether your best trading day stays within a prop firm’s consistency rule and how much more profit you need to meet it.
How the rule works
Many prop firms limit how much of your total profit may come from a single day — for example, no day may exceed 30% of the total. The share is best day ÷ total profit.
Example: daily results of 320, −150, 410, 180, 95 and 240 add up to 1,095. The best day, 410, is 37.4% of the total — above a 30% limit. To meet the rule you need a total profit of at least 410 ÷ 0.30 = 1,366.67, so another 271.67 without a new best day.
Net profit or profitable days only
Firms count the total in different ways: some use net profit (losing days reduce it), others add up only the profitable days. Pick the basis your firm uses. When you already meet the rule, the calculator also shows the largest profit you could make tomorrow and still meet it.
