Compounding calculator for traders
See how a balance grows when each period’s return is reinvested, with optional deposits and a period-by-period table.
How it works
Each period the balance grows by the return and then the deposit is added: B(k) = B(k−1) × (1 + r) + D. Example: 10,000 at 2% a month for 24 months grows to 10,000 × 1.02²⁴ ≈ 16,084 without deposits.
Keep it realistic
The result is arithmetic, not a forecast: trading returns change from month to month and can be negative. A losing month shrinks the base for every month that follows.
